The choice between representation or abstraction is not really presented, the emotional contents or informative of the work is only indebted in his coherence. Johanne believes that a picture elements of which are not in harmony lacks a subject. The pooling of material elements do not summarize either the picture, she estimates constantly, the emotional potential of certain layout and as long as she is not satisfied, She reconsiders the legitimacy of each of the constituents. Colors, forms and composition, texture and format of the work are subjected to often drastic reorganizations, but she succeeds in being satisfied. She considers that her painting is a discreet witness of the things of the everyday life. |
